Bob MacIntyre continured his good form in 2026 with this highest place finish at The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass today.
After completing the first two rounds in par, Bob shot his lowest round at this event with a 7-under par 65. This round, which included 9 birdies put him in serious contention as he entered the final day, but his 3-under par closing score was not quite enough to catch America's Cam Young. Finishing on 10-under par, and just three shots behind Young, saw Bob finish in 4th place.
As the season moves towards the Major run, Bob is showing form that will make him a genuine contender in each of this year's Major Championships. Firmly established within the world Top 10, Bob will now have a break of two weeks before retuning for the Valero Texas Open and then The Masters at Augusta in April.
