After narrowly missing out on a top tier card in 2024, Daniel Young ensured his move up to the DP World Tour with a very successful and consistent season on the Hotelplanner Tour, and his performances throughout the whole year reinforced the undoubted talent and potential he has shown for many years now as a professional.
A maiden victory at the Farmfoods Scottish Challenge on the Schloss Roxburghe course, where he held off the challenge of Frenchman, Julien Quesne, and fellow Scot, Euan Walker, was the highlight of a successful year. In addition to the win, Danny secured 2further top 3 finishes (in France and the Netherlands) and another top 10 (in South Africa) to end the year in 11th place on the Road to Mallorca. He also competed in his first Major at The 153rd Open Championship.
Having turned professional in 2019, the move up to the top tier of European golf will have a familiar feel to it, having already more than 30 DP World Tour starts under his belt, and it is this experience that he hopes to call on to continue his excellent form from 2025.

Danny, who now joins the player roster at Bounce Sport which includes Robert MacIntyre, Grant Forrest, Calum Hill, Euan Walker, Stephen Gallacher, Marc Warren, Lorna McClymont and Louise Duncan, said: “I am delighted to join Bounce Sport and to be working with Iain and the team. It has only been a matter of weeks since I secured my place after the Road to Mallorca Grand Final, but I am excited to be starting the new season so quickly. I am hoping that I can continue my good form from this year in the three events this side of Christmas and that would set me upwell for some big tournaments at the start of 2026.”
IainStoddart, Bounce Sport’s founding partner, is delighted that Danny is joining Bounce Sport, and is looking forward to helping him achieve even more success on the DP World Tour.
Iain Stoddart said: “Danny has earned this step up to DP World Tour after a hugely successful Hotelplanner Tour season this year. He already has the experience of competing at this level, so I am confident that he will hit the ground running, and look forward to the privilege of working with him, and playing our part, to keep him climbing the ladder of World Golf.”
