In 2025, Daniel Young stepped out of the pack on the Hotelplanner Tour to earn his place on the DP World Tour for the first time.
A maiden victory at the Farmfoods Scottish Challenge on the Schloss Roxburghe course, where he held off the challenge of Frenchman, Julien Quesne, and fellow Scot, Euan Walker, was the highlight of a successful year.
In addition to the win, Daniel secured 2 further top 3 finishes (in France and the Netherlands) and another top 10 (in South Africa) to end the year in 11th place on the Road to Mallorca. He also competed in his first Major at The Open Championship at Royal Portrush.
Having turned professional in 2019, the move up to the top tier of European golf will have a familiar feel to it, having already more than 30 DP World Tour starts under his belt, and it is this experience that he hopes to call on to continue his excellent form from 2025.
Living in Perth, Daniel is attached to Kingsbarns, where he and his team will base themselves for this season’s DP World Tour.
