Marcus is one of the most popular players on Tour and, since securing his playing rights after a successful Challenge Tour season in 2016, he has now firmly established himself on the DP World Tour.
His steady move up the rankings became apparent in 2020, where he secured several top 10 performances, including a 3rd place finish at the South African Open.
Then, in 2021, Marcus made a significant breakthrough winning his first DP World Tour title at the Porsche European Open in Hamburg. He followed this up with another couple of top 10 finishes later that year, and he is now focussed on adding to this and making a serious impact on the Race to Dubai.
In May 2021, Marcus became a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ Holder after breaking the record for the 'farthest golf shot caught in a moving car'. He drove a ball 303 yards which was caught in a BMW M8 Convertible by BMW touring car driver Paul O'Neill.
Affectionately known as the Bullet, Marcus is set to continue his rise up the DP World Tour rankings in his own inimitable way, and he will also, undoubtedly, continue to grow his ever-increasing number of fans wherever he plays.
